WHAT IS A CANVAS! SESSION LIKE?

As the premier paint and sip studio in Washington, you will relax in a social, group setting, and an artist team member will guide you through replicating the sessions featured painting step by step. Whether you are an aspiring Van Gogh or just looking to explore your creative side, you are sure to go home with a painting that is uniquely yours. By the end of the session you will be amazed at the artwork you have created! The sessions start promptly at 6:30p.m. but we suggest arriving at 6:00p.m. to get checked in and select your seat – we assign tables, but you select your seat. Sessions are 2 hours long with frequent breaks. 

DO WE NEED TO SIGN UP IN ADVANCE?

Because of limited seating, signing up in advanced is always recommended. You can register on the website. Early registration is encouraged as sessions have both a minimum and maximum registration. 

WHAT IS THE COST OF A CANVAS! SESSION?

The price ranges between $40-$45 depending on the session and painting. (Only one promotion may be applied per session. (NOTE: Vouchers are redeemed at time of reservation, subject to one reschedule prior to expiration based on availability. Reschedules may be charged a $10.00 rebooking fee. Please note: any applicable sales tax is included in the total price and total price is separated into two categories; 1) price related to service/art instruction, 2) price related to product of the total price for a regular calendar event is allocated to product/supplies/respective sales tax to #2.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

Each painter is provided with a pre-stretched canvas, paint and palette. We provide brushes, easels, aprons and step-by-step instruction. Beverages (wine, beer/cider on tap, and an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase throughout the session. (We do not include beverages in the price of the ticket.)

WHAT IS THE AGE LIMIT?

Our sessions at our Kirkland studio are 21+ at all times. You will need to provide ID at check in and the bar.

WHAT DO I WEAR? 

While we will provide aprons, we recommend wearing something you wouldn’t mind getting paint on – just in case!

WHAT TIME DO I NEED TO ARRIVE FOR A SESSION?

Evening sessions start promptly at 6:30p.m. We open at 6:00p.m. for our evening sessions, which allows time for seating. Please refer to our online Calendar for other session times for Mimosa Morning, Special Events, etc. 

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

We have a 48-hour cancellation policy if you need to cancel. We DO NOT offer refunds. We DO offer a credit towards a future session, based on availability. Cancellations should be made by email info@canvaspaintandsip.com. This provides us the opportunity to fill the space. We are sorry, but we cannot offer reschedules or session credit for NO SHOW. We reserve your spot and we will not give it away to anyone else. Thank you in advance for your respect of our reservation policy. REMINDER: No Show/ No Call will not be rescheduled. PRIVATE EVENTS require a six-week cancellation/reschedule notice, unless otherwise noted. We do not offer deposit refunds. 

WHEN DOES THE NEW SCHEDULE COME OUT?

We try to post the schedule at least four to six weeks in advance. “LIKE” us on Facebook, “Follow” us on Instagram, or join our email list to get a sneak peak of the monthly calendar before the online posting.

DO YOU PROVIDE ALCOHOL?

Yes, we sure do!  A variety of beers on tap, wine and champagne are available for purchase throughout the session.  

CAN I BYOB?

NO. We do not allow outside liquor or beverages. NO EXCEPTIONS. Please feel free to contact us for our current beverage list. 

IF I COME WITH A FRIEND OR A GROUP, CAN WE ALL SIT TOGETHER?

We always try to seat friends and parties together…just be sure to let us know when making your reservation and we’ll be sure to make the appropriate seating arrangements. (Place names of your party/group in the “NOTES” section).

YOUR PAINTINGS ARE READY TO TAKE WITH YOU AT THE END OF EACH SESSION. CANVAS! IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PAINTING LEFT AFTER THE SESSION. NOTE: ON A CASE-BY-CASE BASIS, WE WILL HOLD A PAINTING FOR UP TO 24 HOURS ONLY!
